Toric contact lenses are designed for people who have astigmatism. Astigmatism is refractive anomaly, with rays after the breach in the optical part of the eye, are collected in one point of the retina and form a clear picture of watched items. The most common reason for this lack of optical eye is irregular curvature of the cornea surface. The most common symptom of astigmatism is blurred vision. Some additional symptoms of astigmatism include: blurred vision when attempting to read the small print, difficulty reading, double images and occurrence of non-existent files.
